1:21:28Omarchy Quattro
DHH gives an unhurried hands on tour of Omarchy Quattro, the fourth generation of his opinionated Arch and Hyprland Linux setup, released the day the video went up. The architectural headline is that the whole desktop shell has been rebuilt on QuickShell, so the bar, panels, menus, notifications and lock screen are one pluggable surface, and Omarchy itself has stopped being a Git checkout in your home directory and become a system package with your plugins and configs layered on top. He walks the entire super space menu in order: keybindings, themes, the new manual, plugins, snapshots and factory reset, Omarchy's own package mirror on Cloudflare running a month behind Arch, the install and remove menus, development stacks, gaming, and three tiny bespoke apps in C++ that he cheerfully admits Claude wrote. Quattro is also openly agent accelerated, with a default agent wired to crash capture, agents installed out of band through mise, and an Omarchy skill so your agent knows how to reconfigure the machine it is running on, all of which you can switch off with one right click.
